Privacy policy
This policy explains how Lulla ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Lulla mobile apps for iOS and Android and this marketing website. Lea Isabel Fröhlich is responsible for Lulla as described here.
Summary
Feeding logs (which side, timestamps, and session duration when you use the timer), your optional baby name, schedule preferences, and related settings are stored on your device so the app can work offline. We do not operate a Lulla account system and we do not upload that journal to our own servers. If you contact us by email, we process the contents of your message to reply.
What we collect and why
- App data on your device: nursing sessions, optional display name for your baby, onboarding and schedule configuration, and similar preferences. This stays in local storage on your phone unless you delete the app or clear app data.
- Subscriptions (premium): when you purchase or restore a subscription, Apple and/or Google process payment. We use Adapty to validate access levels and show paywalls. Adapty may receive identifiers and subscription events from the stores as part of that service. Adapty's privacy policy governs their processing.
- Support email: if you write to alm.labs.apps@gmail.com, we use your address and message to respond and to keep a record of the conversation for a reasonable period if follow-up is needed.
- Diagnostics: Apple and Google may collect crash and performance data according to your device settings. We may rely on those aggregated reports to improve stability.
- This website: normal server and analytics logs from your host or CDN (for example IP address, user agent, and requested page) may exist for security and operations. We do not use those logs to identify feeding history from the app.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR-style rules apply, we rely on performance of a contract (running the app you asked for), legitimate interests (secure operations, support, and product improvement), and consent where required (for example optional analytics if we add them and ask you first).
Retention and deletion
App journal data remains until you remove it in the app or uninstall Lulla. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and maintain minimal business records. Subscription records follow Apple, Google, and Adapty retention as applicable.
Children
Lulla is intended for parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the digital age of majority where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because most journal data never leaves your device, the fastest way to delete it is in the app or by uninstalling. For other requests, email alm.labs.apps@gmail.com.
International transfers
Vendors such as Adapty or hosting providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards described in their policies.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date below will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected here; for major changes we may also provide notice in the app or by email where appropriate.
